Full Metal Hipster #15 – Feminist Metal is for Everyone With Alicia Warrington

DOHRN

Welcome back my lovelies! This is episode 15 of Full Metal Hipster. With this episode I’ll cross the 1,000 download mark, and I want to thank evryone who helped me reach this milestone. Thank you for listening to one episode or every episode. Thank you for sharing this podcast on social media. A super big thank you to anyone who’s come on the podcast to chat. I hope I’ve been able to expose all of you to new music you wouldn’t know otherwise. That’s always been my purpose in doing this. On this episode I’m focusing on women in heavy metal culture. I’ve got music from some amazing underground bands and I speak to Alicia Warrington, a drummer who’s worked with Kelly Osborne, Miley Cyrus, and Kate Nash. She’s a lifetime metalhead who’s preparing to release her debut death metal EP under the moniker DOHRN. Enjoy!
